Horror Story

Today, was a great day for Tommy. Tommy had woke up on his own, and he made breakfast for himself. His parents were out of town for 2 weeks to Arizona. So he went on to school as usuall, he was on time for every class. Tommy had came home after school to eat a quick lunch before he goes off to his evening work out. Tommy got to the gym, and he smelt a dank, wet sense of chlorine. Tommy just got done with his work out at about 8:30 and they close at 9. Tommy did his sauna after like usuall. The sauna too smelled dank and ardent. It was 8:55 and Tommy was just getting ready to get out the sauna when suddenly he couldnt open the door. He panicked, superflous he jumped up and tried to kick the door open. Which didnt work, he saw somebody walk by really slow, at this time it was 9:15. Tommy screamed and screamed and the walking person paid no attention to him what so ever. Tommy thought he was a dead man, by now tommy had no water and the sauna was still at full strength. Tommy sat for another 15 minutes, he knew he needed to get out of here. Finally Tommy kicked the door down, and walked to his locker. The locker room was really dark and Tommy couldnt see which locker he went to. But, tommy had been at this gym plenty of times and he somewhat knew where to go. Tommy finally got to his locker cause he remembered that his  locker was the first one on the right side. Tommy was now trying to put his key in the lock, but he heard a loud BANG! Scared out of his mind he opened his locker and grabbed everything he had a ran for the door. He entered the lobby to that dank smell again, but this time it was a little different than when he had first got there. Tommy knew somthing was wrong. Running to the exit, he got there and the door was locked! Tommy heard some footsteps, and they werent walking. They were jogging, it was really loud and didnt sound like human feet, it had to be something bigger he thought to himself. He panicked trying to get that door open and it wouldnt budge, the footsteps were getting closer and louder. Tommy finally just kicked a huge hole in the door, he heard a huge roar like a lion or a wilderbeast. Tommy ran to his bike and biked all the way home, got right on the phone to call him parents to tell them what happened. After he laid in his bed scared shitless, he couldnt fall asleep. Then, starting to drift off, he heard the huge ROAR again in his house. To Be Continued

Chicken Sales on 4/20 Skyrocket

Miami, FL- Citizens of miami are in awe. There are 54 KFC's and chicken joints in the greater miami area. All of them are sold out of chicken, from wings to breasts. On one unusual April 20th, 2011 KFC corp. sold over 1 million chicken pieces in just the greater miami. A local stoner, conor king said, " What do you expect? Its 4/20! Me and my 4 other friends bought a bucket of chicken each! Thats 50 pieces for just us." Out of all the population in miami, which is 1.3 million. 80 percent had smoked by 4:20 on 4/20. The end result is the price of chicken rose 29 cents a pound. Supply is low. A local picnicteer said " I walked oin KFC on 4/20 at 5 pm and they said all they have left is mac and cheese. I couldnt believe it! How can KFC run out of chicken. So then i went to another chicken joint and they couldnt help me either. All of miami has ran out of chicken. Ridiculous!

Power Point Update

My power point is on Circle of discipline as you all know. Today I am going there and talking to a couple amateur boxers, and also some staff. I hope to complete all of my information for my power point today. So then i can have it in by thursday or friday. Stay tuned. I hope to post it on my blog.

Reading Response #9

Though the text was very hard to understand, due to the complexcity of the words. I feel that freedom is something that everyone should have. No matter where they live or what they believe in. This article shows us that many people in the world live with no freedom. In the article is states that there was a newspaper and because the author put in a opinion the government took the newspaper off the market. This is very wrong, i hope that one day all the people of the will be able to do and say what they want.

My Presentation

Instead of a documentary im doing a presentation. It will be on this program in south minneapolis, called circle of discipline. It is a program that helps youth and young adults stay out of gangs, violence, drugs, and alcohol. The program accomplishes this by having a boxing program that helps youth release unwanted energy. To present this, i am going to do a power point on the program, my goal is to have 10 to 15 slides on it. Stay Tuned

Blog Post #1

So far our group  has scheduled a time for all of us to brainstorm to figure out what we are doing out documentary on. I think that this is a great start to the long process of making this 5 minute documentary. We are still trying to find ideas for this project, the guest speakers really help with that though. We hopefully will be done brainstorming by the next blog post and I can tell you guys a lot more stay tuned.

Blog #3

The most challenging part of our PSA this far is finding time off work to get our group together and talk about our short film. Also out teacher in the beginning told our group that we needed to evaluate our pitch and needed more detail. Our group stuck with it, and in the end we got to do the PSA we wanted. As of now we are very excited to get our show on the road.
