The most challenging part of our PSA this far is finding time off work to get our group together and talk about our short film. Also out teacher in the beginning told our group that we needed to evaluate our pitch and needed more detail. Our group stuck with it, and in the end we got to do the PSA we wanted. As of now we are very excited to get our show on the road.

Our groups pitch went very well. We got a lot of constructive crtitizism, which was very helpful. We took the advice and put it into our story board. I think the PSA will be in the interest of the the community. Our target audience is highschool students and also there parents. We are going to put some funny jokes to hook the viewer at the start and then turn in around and be serious.

The role of PSA's in our media culture is to provide people with important information, like not to text and drive and other things. My group is doing our PSA on  prescription drugs and how people abuse them. Many people take the drugs and arent even prescribed to them. Our plan to make this visual, we are going to have two highschool kids in a classroom setting and one is selling his prescription pills to another. Later that day the kid ends up throwing them away, his health class made him change his mind. I am currently creating the storyboard for it and im also going to act it out.
